The Lodge is located 4 miles from Bath in the beautiful village of Box, offering its own private entrance, wireless internet and a large double bed. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas hob and oven, fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle and utensils. There is a dining area and a seating area with a chaise sofa that pulls out to a sofa bed for 2 extra guests. The natural slate and marble bathroom has a power shower, toilet, sink and mirror. Free WiFi and a flat screen television with FreeView are included, along with complimentary slippers, and there is parking on site just outside the accommodation.

Your own private kitchen is fitted with an oven, microwave, hob, fridge, cutlery and crockery and a dining table. The natural stone bathroom is well appointed. The living area has a comfortable sofa and a FreeView television, and free high speed internet is included.
The Lodge sleeps up to 4 guests: a large double bed, plus a sofa bed in the living area for 2 extra guests.
Guest access
You have your own private entrance and can check in at any time using the lock box, with the code supplied by email. Early check-in and late check-out can be offered subject to availability, and you are welcome to leave your car or baggage before or after your stay even when they are not available.
The neighbourhood
Box has plenty to offer, with an Indian restaurant just 100m away, three pubs all serving good food and a wide array of small convenience shops. It is a great base for exploring the surrounding Cotswolds countryside, and for visiting Lacock, Badminton, Bath and Bristol.
Getting around
Parking is right outside. Buses run regularly into Bath, up to 4 per hour taking 15-20 minutes, and to Chippenham, up to 3 per hour taking 30 minutes. Timetables are provided and a parking map for Bath is available.
There is a 7.4kW Type 2 electric vehicle charger at the property, available through the CoCharger app, where its availability and charges are published.

Lovely comfortable little cottage. Close enough as a base for visiting bath. The hosts were excellent and very attentive. Would definitley recommend if you are looking for a quiet stop away from the city but still planning on visiting and without having to spend an extrortinate amount of money that you sometimes have to pay to stay in Bath itself. We had a great weekend and the place was good value for money.

Easy to find the house, on the main road, beautiful town in 10 mins driving. Large space for parking, for EV charger go futher a bit along the lane, but have to use Co-charger app a bit complicated. The house is very clean and equiped enough things for stay 1 or 2 days. It’s quite small, the bed and sofa bed are in one space. One of the most down-side issue is there 1 another flat upstair, you will feel every step of people walking up there, a bit noisy if you are not a easy sleep one. Anyway, would recommend for Bath trip.
