The Lodge is located 4 miles from Bath in the beautiful village of Box, offering its own private entrance, wireless internet and a large double bed. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas hob and oven, fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle and utensils. There is a dining area and a seating area with a chaise sofa that pulls out to a sofa bed for 2 extra guests. The natural slate and marble bathroom has a power shower, toilet, sink and mirror. Free WiFi and a flat screen television with FreeView are included, along with complimentary slippers, and there is parking on site just outside the accommodation.

The Lodge sleeps up to 4 guests: a large double bed, plus a sofa bed in the living area for 2 extra guests.
Guest access
You have your own private entrance and can check in at any time using the lock box, with the code supplied by email. Early check-in and late check-out can be offered subject to availability, and you are welcome to leave your car or baggage before or after your stay even when they are not available.
The neighbourhood
Box has plenty to offer, with an Indian restaurant just 100m away, three pubs all serving good food and a wide array of small convenience shops. It is a great base for exploring the surrounding Cotswolds countryside, and for visiting Lacock, Badminton, Bath and Bristol.
Getting around
Parking is right outside. Buses run regularly into Bath, up to 4 per hour taking 15-20 minutes, and to Chippenham, up to 3 per hour taking 30 minutes. Timetables are provided and a parking map for Bath is available.
There is a 7.4kW Type 2 electric vehicle charger at the property, available through the CoCharger app, where its availability and charges are published.

If you turn right from the cottage up the road is a petrol station with a Budgens and a pub a little further up. If you turn left there is an Indian restaurant that has good reviews. Just a note , read the email from Elle as it gives specific directions. Easy to get to but you need the email details. Lovely little place, I would def return

Eleanor was quick to reply and made sure that we knew she was there if we needed, but allowed us privacy.

A couple of minor issues that I raised with Elle that she said would be rectified ASAP. Having said that, I would have no problem staying again.
